Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently halfway through the four-year deal he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.
The veteran forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the initial major trophy of his illustrious career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he previously was, and would definitely contemplate prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
